The Metropolitan State University of Denver Men's Lacrosse Team is favored to win the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference Division II Championship. This is the first time that MSU Denver Lacrosse has been slated to compete on the national stage! "We were very excited to head to what we thought would be a championship game in Boulder, CO which would have cost us next to nothing because our home base is on the MSU Denver campus in Denver, CO. Unfortunately, at the beginning of the season, the conference let us know that the national championship would be hosted in California rather than Boulder, CO this year. That is why we would REALLY appreciate donor funding. We are a club sport at the moment but we are proving that we very much so want to compete on the NCAA DII stage.", Men's Lacrosse Coach, Aaron Meyer told the MSU Denver Crowdfunding Team. As Conference Champions, the team will compete in the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association National Championship from May 9, 2016 to May 14, 2016 in sunny southern California. The team is currently up to $2,000/$10,000 needed in funding for this upcoming trip's travel and lodging fees! We appreciate all current donors of this project and ask YOU to support this team with a gift of any size! They WILL make you PROUD as they compete for MSU Denver!
$25 - Can help feed a hungry MSU Denver lacrosse player while competing at nationals! Help these young men CARB UP before the BIG GAME!
$50 - A gift of $50 will help a player receive a new lacrosse stick or any other necessary equipment for play at the championship tourney!
$100 - Will fund 1-2 players' checked baggage fees. Help us get our Lacrosse equipment from Denver, CO to Southern California! .
$350 - Will purchase one round trip flight for a player both to and from the National Championship!
$1000 - Will cover the cost of flights for all three coaches! Help them travel with and lead their team to a national championship!
$8000 - Would be a gift from a CHAMPION donor to aspiring MSU Denver Lacrosse CHAMPIONS! Our team would host a special "inside scoop" event for the special donor(s) that gift us the remaining amount needed($8,000) to make our trip to Nationals this year. We look forward to hosting the generous donor and their guests to a private scrimmage / "meet the players" session after we return from finals! We look forward to meeting the special donor that will become a CHAMPION for Aspiring Champions! Hopefully we bring you back a championship TROPHY!
